I don’t even know where to begin with how truly amazing Mercedes is to work with. She shot my engagement pictures two years ago. I had dreams of doing it on my fiancés motorcycle and she took it to the next level!! She went above and beyond to scout out the perfect location. When we got there, before even showing her what I wanted to do pose wise, she already had a million ideas written down, all of which were exactly what I wanted and more! I literally felt like I could just stand there and smile and she did the rest. I even remember her running up while I was on the bike to fix my hair, which I just loved her for!! And the pictures turned out more amazing then I ever could have imagined!

My story of working with Mercedes definitely varies from others, 3 months before my wedding, it ended up being called off. Going through the absolute worst time in my life, she was my first vendor I called to give the news. I ended up staying on the phone with her that day for almost an hour. We cried together and I truly felt how heartbroken she was for me, and she was so genuine to make sure I was ok. Other places I talked to after her were just straight to the business lines of “we’re so sorry” and talking about my contracts. About a week after that phone call, I received a care package in the mail, from Mercedes, of little things to make me smile. That gesture alone went above and beyond anything I would have expected from my wedding photographer and made me realize, not only is she talented and a wonderful photographer, but she whole heartedly cares about her clients and is just one of the most beautiful souls I have ever met. She still to this day checks in on me. We catch up on our lives and I am so blessed for her continued friendship. So my love story might not have worked out this time around, but I can honestly say that she will be the only one I trust to capture my life forever.
